It is time to start our end of month close out. This one should be a little more extensive than a usual month because it is the end of the year and there will be many coupons that are expiring. Here are the steps I will be taking.
- Print out any coupons that I may want from Coupons.com, RedPlum, or CoolSavings. I do this because we don’t know which coupons are going to expire or will be used up.
- Watch any Video Values from Rite-Aid that will produce coupons that I might use next month. These will expire at the end of January
- Check the upromise ecoupons to make sure I have used all the coupons that I want (you can sign up for upromise and earn extra money for your child’s or any family member’s college education).
- Once my last rebates have posted for Rite-Aid I go ahead and request my check.
- Throw away any loose coupons that have expired.
- Assess your stock pile to know what items you need to start purchasing again.
- Thank my spouse for understanding that I am a fanatic and that it was her choice that she married me.
I will be doing a coupon cleanup post when we cross into the new year letting you know which coupon circulars no longer have any valid coupons.

I found three great coupons for getting free food while you are returning that sweater you got from Aunt Ethel.
Waffle House has free sausage biscuits via this printable coupon which is good until January 8th.
7-eleven has a free 12 oz hot beverage via this coupon and it is good until Dec. 31st.
Taco Bell will give you a free Fresco Taco when you print their coupon. These will be good seven days after you print them and will last until one million are printed.

Publix has their store brand grape juice as the penny item this week. All you need to do to get the Penny Item is to purchase $10 worth of merchandise before coupons on either Sunday or Monday. If you don’t usually shop at Publix check the Publix List to see if you can find $10 worth of items you need to get a great deal on grape juice.
